Quint 40
Added in 2024, Quint 40 is a 75-foot mid-mount Sutphen aerial that combines the features of a fire engine and ladder truck. Equipped with a 1,500 GPM pump, 1,000 feet of 5-inch supply hose, and multiple pre-connected attack lines, it supports both fire suppression and elevated rescue operations. Its ladder and waterway capabilities make it ideal for structure fires, master stream use, and rural firefighting scenarios. Quint 40 enhances the department’s ability to respond efficiently to a variety of emergencies.

Engine 40 & 41
Engine 40 and Engine 41 are twin Sutphen pumpers added to the Stonelick Township Fire Department fleet in 2019 to strengthen fire suppression and rescue capabilities. Each engine is equipped with a 1,500 GPM pump, 1,000 feet of 5-inch supply hose, and multiple pre-connected attack lines designed for both urban and rural firefighting. Carrying 500 gallons of water onboard, they allow for immediate response while securing a water source. Both units are also fully equipped with vehicle extrication tools and stabilization equipment, making them essential assets for structure fires, vehicle accidents, and technical rescues.


Medic 40, 240 & 41
Stonelick Township Fire Department operates three Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulances—Medic 40, Medic 41, and Medic 240—ensuring rapid, high-quality prehospital care. Medic 40 and Medic 41, built on Ford F-450 chassis by Medix, were added in 2021 and 2022. Medic 240, a 2014 Horton Ford F-550, serves as a backup unit and is scheduled for replacement in 2025.
Each unit is staffed by EMTs and paramedics and equipped with advanced life-saving technology, including Stryker Power-Load cots, LUCAS mechanical CPR devices, and LIFEPAK 15 cardiac monitors. These ambulances are essential in delivering fast, effective emergency medical care throughout the community.

Tender 40
Tender 40 is a 1996 Peterbilt water tanker carrying 1,800 gallons of water and equipped with a 500 GPM pump. Designed to support rural and non-hydrant areas, it features two pre-connected 200-foot attack lines and plays a vital role in water shuttle operations and extended fire incidents. Tender 40 ensures a dependable water supply, making it an essential resource for the department’s firefighting efforts.

Rescue 40
Rescue 40 is a 2017 Ford F-550 mini-pumper featuring a 1,500 GPM pump and 400-gallon water tank. Compact and versatile, it’s equipped for fire suppression, vehicle extrication, rope rescues, and ice rescues. Its smaller size allows it to access areas larger apparatus can’t, making it an essential tool for handling emergencies across Stonelick Township’s varied terrain.

Brush 40
Brush 40 is a 2015 Ford F-150 (4x4) equipped with a 70-gallon water tank, 40 GPM pump, and specialized tools for brush fires. Being 4-wheel drive, allows access to areas larger units cannot reach.
It also features an EMS sled carrier for patient transport in difficult terrain, making it a vital asset for both firefighting and medical response in Stonelick Township.

ATV 40
ATV 40 is a Kawasaki MULE all-terrain vehicle designed for brush fire suppression and patient transport in areas inaccessible to standard emergency vehicles. Its compact and rugged design allows responders to navigate rough terrain, making it essential for wildland firefighting and remote medical rescues.
Equipped with firefighting tools and an EMS transport system, ATV 40 enhances the department’s ability to provide rapid response in challenging environments, ensuring effective emergency care and fire suppression in hard-to-reach areas.
