First Aid, CPR, and Stop the Bleed®

The Stonelick Township Fire Department is proud to serve as a certified training center for Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) through both the American Heart Association (AHA) and the Health & Safety Institute (HSI). Our training programs are designed to provide both community members and healthcare professionals with the skills and confidence needed to respond effectively in emergencies.

Certification Courses Offered:

  • Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR): Training for adults, children, and infants.

  • First Aid: Covers common injuries, sudden illnesses, and medical emergencies.

  • Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Training: Prepares participants to deliver life-saving defibrillation when needed.

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS): Designed for healthcare providers managing cardiovascular emergencies.

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS): Focuses on critical interventions for pediatric patients.

In addition to CPR and first aid training, we are also a STOP the Bleed® Coalition Training Site. This nationally recognized program teaches life-saving techniques for severe bleeding emergencies, including wound packing and tourniquet application. Stop the Bleed empowers bystanders to become immediate responders, providing critical care in the moments before first responders arrive.

Address Signs

As you travel through Stonelick Township, you may notice many address and mailbox signs in varying states of wear—faded numbers, missing digits, or in some cases, no numbers at all. Clear and visible house numbers are crucial in helping us locate your home quickly during an emergency.

To assist residents, we offer reflective address signs designed to mount easily on your mailbox post. These durable signs are available for purchase at the fire station. A single-sided sign is available for $20.00, while a double-sided option is $25.00, with numbering applied on both sides for maximum visibility.

If your current house numbers need updating, stop by the station to place an order. Please note, due to the volume of unclaimed orders, payment is required at the time you place your request.

Properly marked, easy-to-read street numbers can save precious time when every second counts. Help us help you—ensure your home is clearly identified.

KNOX-BOX®

The KNOX-BOX® system is a key component of a secure, rapid entry program designed to provide the Stonelick Township Fire Department with quick, damage-free access to commercial and residential properties during emergencies. Installed and purchased by the property owner, each KNOX-BOX® or rapid-entry device is keyed to a master key exclusively controlled by the Stonelick Township Fire Department, ensuring both security and rapid entry when needed.

Our department works directly with property owners to help select the appropriate KNOX-BOX® model or rapid-entry product and determine the best mounting location. Before placing an order or beginning installation, please contact us at 513-732-1136 so we can assist you with proper sizing and placement.
